Flowering Plants form a bushy upright clump, bearing several spikes of large trumpet flowers.
Size Grows to 70 cm high x 60cm wide
Maintenance Moderate prune and feed after flowering will keep the plant compact and healthy.
Position  Pefers Full Sun. Will tolerate moderate frost and some shade.
Uses Penstemons are a great addition to any garden. They can be used as a specimen plant, in containers, en masse for effect and can be mixed with other perennials to form a lovely cottage garden.
 Climate

Penstemon are attractive, medium sized shrubs these are the showiest varieties by far, putting on a terrific display of colour in the summer and autumn months. The foliage is glossy green with dark coloured stems.

  • Firebird – Red bell shaped flowers
  • Hidcote Pink – Soft salmon pink flowers
  • Port Wine – Dark burgundy/purple flowers.
  • Russian River – Dark purple flowering.
