Lavandula pinnata ‘Sidonie’

Flowering Intense, vibrant violet-blue flowers develop in abundance from late winter till autumn.
Size Foliage growing to 50cm with flower stems up to 130cm tall, width to 150cm.
Maintenance Low maintenance. Low water requirements. Prune well after flowering to maintain compact growth.
Position A very hardy plant which tolerates full sun and dry climates. Light frost hardy. Plant near a pathway where the foliage scent can be enjoyed.
Uses The abundance of blooms and compact, yet spreading, habit make Sidonie the ideal choice for mass planting in borders, on banks and especially good in containers. Clipping off spent flower heads will prolong flower – and they’re great for indoor display and pot-pourii.
Climate

A vibrantly scented mounding lavender, perfectly suited to the harsh Australian climate, it is ideally suited to hot and humid climates, thriving where other lavender struggle with humidity and heat.
