Flowering Eye catching raspberry red flowers in abundance in the autumn months.
Size Grows to 1.2m high x 45cm wide
Maintenance Trim spent flower stems back to the foliage to encourage repeat flowering. Cut plant back in late winter to make room for fresh spring growth. Tolerates dryness, heat, frost and coastal conditions.
Position Prune after the main flowering time, then cut back hard in spring to allow for new growth. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage repeat flowering. Fertilise when planting and in spring.
Uses A very hardy perennial which can be grown as a border, to line pathways, informal hedges, as a mass planting or mixed with other perennials to form a lovely cottage garden or in container gardens and pots.
